Trauma Therapy in Minnesota, Wisconsin & ORegon

Your Story Matters

A safe place to say it out loud and finally be heard.

Something happened that changed you. It makes sense that it still sits deep inside you.

There's a way through it. That's what I'm here for.

Therapy with me is a space to exhale. To fall apart safely.

To stop minimizing what happened and start honoring what you’ve been through.

Together, we’ll work toward the kind of relief and reconnection you’ve been craving:

  • Feeling safe in your body again

  • Trusting yourself to make decisions without second-guessing or spiraling

  • Letting go of perfectionism and finally feeling like enough

  • Processing loss, fear, or guilt so it no longer runs in the background of your day

  • Being present with your baby, your family, your life

  • Reclaiming the parts of you that got lost in survival mode

I’m an anxiety and trauma therapist who brings together traditional talk therapy, EMDR, and mind-body therapies to help my clients listen to their own wisdom, heal from past wounds, and move into the future with a sense of calm and confidence.

I Am so glad You are here! I am Jennie Hardman, mSW, LICSW

You’re in the right place...

Maybe it's the thing you've never said out loud.

The experience that changed how you move through the world.

Trauma from childhood, from a relationship, from a medical setting, from a pregnancy or loss or birth that no one treated like trauma.

And maybe you've been telling yourself it wasn't a big deal. That you should be over it. That you're making too much of it.

So you keep going. Keep performing fine. Keep carrying something that was never yours to carry alone.

I know how heavy that gets. How isolating it feels when no one around you understands why this is still with you.

I offer three ways to do this work, depending on what you need and what your life can hold right now. All of them are grounded in trauma-focused, evidence-based approaches including EMDR, somatic work, and nervous system healing.

How I Can Support You

1:1 Therapy

This is traditional therapy, but not the kind where you talk in circles for years without anything changing. We go to the hard places together. The memories your body is still holding. The beliefs that got wired in when you were just trying to survive. The patterns that made sense once but are running your life now.

Perinatal Trauma Therapy

Birth trauma. Pregnancy loss. Infertility. NICU stays. TFMR. The grief that comes with a reproductive experience that didn't go the way it was supposed to. This is specialized work, and it is what I know most deeply. If something happened around your pregnancy, birth, or loss, this is the place for it.

Therapy Intensives

Some things are too heavy to chip away at one hour a week. An intensive is a concentrated block of focused, uninterrupted work, typically 3 to 6 hours, designed to go deeper than a weekly session can reach. Not faster. Deeper. My clients don't leave an intensive feeling like they made a little progress. They leave feeling like something actually moved.

The Path Back to You Starts Here

When trauma finally gets the attention it deserves, something shifts. You stop bracing for the next bad thing. You stop replaying what happened. You wake up, and your first thought isn't dread.

You start trusting your body again, trusting yourself again.

Not because you forgot what happened, but because it stopped running your life.

Your journey to healing

01

Genuine Connection

We’ll talk about what you’re going through and how therapy can help. No pressure, just a supportive conversation.

02

A personal Plan

While much of our work together will include talking & processing, I also use EMDR and IFS therapy to address what’s happening inside

03

Thrive & Grow

We work together to uncover what is going on beneath the surface and make real & sustainable changes in your life.

I

Are you ready to Start your Journey?

I've spent over a decade doing this work, with specialized training in EMDR, perinatal mental health, attachment, and trauma-focused approaches. I know how to go to the hard places without rushing you. I know how to hold space for grief that doesn't make sense to anyone else. I know what it takes to help your body feel safe again.

If you're ready to stop managing and start healing, I'd love to talk.
